Aesthetic ft. Courtney,Austin, & Qurissy

This week is the second part of the Gumbo series I sat down with 3 members of the Gumbo Media team. Courtney(co-founder), Austin (Social media Director) and Qurissy (Art Director) joined us from LA to speak about their roles in Gumbo, how being apart of this collective has fed their creative desires. This week I wanted to discuss the importance of the black aesthetic ,shout out to my pilot episode, how aesthetic is something they are intentional about thoughtful about and continuously try to find ways to share work from an array of artist. They all expressed the sweat equity put into the production of Gumbo Magazine speaking to why the imagery will be inspiring and impactful to the global black community...
