This week I spoke on the impact of biopic films centering black public figures. This episode was inspired about the release and controversy around "Harriet" staring Cynthia Erivo. I give why I'm passing on the film as well as best and worst examples that have made us laugh, cry, and cringe. The question or call of action is, Does a person being alive improve the quality of their biopic?
